in or out blogSocial media is a game.  Like any game or sporting event, you are in competition to achieve a certain goal.  Whether the goals is to win the game or gain followers who share, comment and like the material you put out there, there is a constant challenge to be the best.  The social media game depends on being able to keep the attention of your followers.  This takes research, trial and error and a lot of work.  A midst the challenges to stay on the front page above the fold there are basic guidelines and rules that should be used to guide your way to remaining relevant and in front of the pack.

  • Trust – are you authentic & genuine or just re-posting information that someone else thought of ?
  • Social causes – are you involved in your community and their missions or do you expect everyone to come knocking down your door?
  • Technology – are you well versed in the tools that your prospects use or still using dial up?
  • After the sale – statistics say that 60% of your clients leave because of perceived indifference, 65% leave without telling you, 80% leave because they are just “satisfied”.  Are you going above and beyond?
